Anita Verma is a doctoral researcher at AIIMS Rishikesh studying the effects of yoga on autonomic balance, with a focus on heart rate variability and stress reduction in healthcare workers. A gold medalist in Yoga Science with a strong academic and teaching background, she integrates traditional yoga with modern research to promote mental and physical well-being.

Hongjuan Wang, PhD

The Role of Yoga in Managing Menopausal Symptoms: Insights from a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

Hongjuan Wang is a PhD candidate at the Xiangya School of Nursing, Central South University. Her research interests include yoga therapy, mindfulness interventions, perinatal depression, implementation science, and the prevention and management of chronic diseases. She has published in top journals and presented her work at conferences around the world. She is also the principal investigator (PI) of two research projects, and has earned multiple scholarships and grants for her work.

Rima Dada, MD, PhD, DSc

Impact of Yoga on Male and Female Infertility

Dr Rima Dada is a MD, PhD (Genetics), DSc(Yoga). She heads the lab for Molecular Reproduction and Genetics and is a Professor at All India Institute of Medical Science in Delhi. She is actively engaged in teaching, research, and diagnostics. Her research interest is genetics of male infertility and the impact of yoga in complex lifestyle diseases. She has extensively worked on impact of yoga on sperm genome and epigenome, as well as on the health of future generations and success rates of in vitro fertilization. She  will be presenting her work on male infertility and PCOS.

Abha Rajbhandari, PhD

Primary Outcomes of Yoga Intervention Before, During, and After Pregnancy 

Dr. Abha Karki Rajbhandari is an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has been studying the neurobiological mechanisms of fear, stress and anxiety that are relevant for basic science studies of conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder for almost 14 years.
