Neter Antoine & Caroline Bruckner
Yoga for Pediatric Acquired Brain Injury (PABI): School Setting
Neter Antoine is a SPED Yoga Teacher at the iBRAIN school's Manhattan campus with her certification in yoga as an E-RYT 200 and YACEP. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and is credentialed as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Her focus is on the intersection of the natural world, the internal and external movement of one's body, and how they enable positive flow of the brain. Neter was first introduced to yoga as a child when her mother engaged her and her siblings in daily pranayama and seated meditation to end their day. She grew her yoga practice over the years as an athlete, artist and clinician, sharing the various techniques with her communities before becoming certified as a yoga teacher in 2018.
Caroline is a yoga practitioner of over a decade with a wide range of experiences and applications. Her background in dance, cheerleading, and martial arts led her to pursue other movement based practices while studying psychology and neuroscience at Binghamton University. She then observed and experienced the benefits of therapeutic exercise and honed her instructional skills while working at an orthopedic physical therapy clinic. Then, after spending a year living and teaching in Costa Rica, she found her way back to NY and into her current position as an adaptive yoga instructor for students with brain based disorders and injuries.
