In-person Neuroscience and Yoga community gathering in 2025

A warm online conference for serious learning - rigorous enough for clinicians, accessible enough for yoga teachers.

Why this conference

A calmer, clearer home for separating evidence from exaggeration - and helping yoga teachers apply science responsibly with more confidence and credibility.

This year's topics

Three deep dives into the science people ask about most.

Topic 1

Yoga + Migraine and Headache

Frequency, intensity, duration, disability, and autonomic function - with careful attention to safety, pacing, and neurological context.

Topic 2

Yoga + Schools and Neurodiversity

Behavior, mental health, academic performance, autism, and ADHD - including where the evidence is promising and still developing.

Topic 3

Yoga + Brain Longevity®

What is promising for cognitive health across the lifespan, and what still needs better evidence before making strong claims.

Speakers

Learn from people who bridge science, healthcare, and yoga practice.

The Encore features education from physicians, neuroscientists, psychologists, researchers, yoga therapists, teacher trainers, and experienced yoga teachers.

What you get

A clearer, more credible way to understand, teach, and advocate for yoga.

Yoga is powerful, but public conversation around yoga is often filled with vague claims, neuroscience myths, and oversimplified health promises.

This conference helps you understand what science actually shows, what is promising, and how to apply it responsibly in practice, teaching, and care.

Evidence-based education

Learn from presenters who define terms clearly and distinguish evidence from speculation.

2

Teaching credibility

Speak about yoga science responsibly with students, clients, colleagues, and institutions.

Jonathan Rosenthal, MD

Neurologist, yoga student, and host of the Neuroscience and Yoga Conference

Meet your host

Curated by a neurologist who cares about both science and yoga.

Jonathan Rosenthal, MD, is a New York neurologist and longtime yoga student. He created the conference to bring scientists, clinicians, researchers, yoga teachers, and curious practitioners into a clearer conversation about what yoga science can and cannot yet say.

The goal is simple: make rigorous education accessible, practical, and grounded enough to help people move beyond online misinformation.
